Cube Variations and Algorithm Inputs

The experience created by developer Guess the Studios! centers on authentic speedcubing logic. Rather than using simplified mini-games, the game applies real cubing algorithms to turn the faces of the puzzle. Players face multiple cube dimensions during competition, including traditional three-layer puzzles and a 2 by 2 layout that appears in match rotations.

Turning each puzzle requires fast keyboard interaction. The default mode displays a specific letter sequence on the screen, representing rotations like D, E, U, A, I, W, K, S, J, and L. Players memorize this key sequence and retype the letters in order to rotate the faces and complete the solve before their opponent finishes.

In addition to base mechanical variations, players can customize their puzzles. Winning matches awards Coins, which can be spent in the in-game shop on cosmetic cube skins, stools, and specialty item containers such as the Brain rock crate.

Game Modes and Puzzle Solving Rules

Matches take place in dedicated arenas hosting up to 30 players per server. The primary modes test either sequence memorization speed or unprompted speedcubing execution.

Mode OptionMatch StructureSolving Requirement
Standard RaceLive rival race on 30-player serverType memorized key sequence from memory
Bot ChallengeFive-round match, first to three winsRace automated bot under default round settings
Zero AssistDirect cube scramble duelSolve real scrambled cube without sequence assists

In default bot matches, players compete across five rounds where the first competitor to achieve three round wins takes the match. Winning rounds provides coin payouts, such as 270 coins or 95 coins depending on round parameters. Speed also triggers in-match effects, allowing leading players to temporarily freeze their rival's progress.

Advanced players can select zero assist mode. This setting presents a fully scrambled cube without display prompts. Solvers must inspect the scramble and manually execute complete real-world algorithms to solve the cube, bridging real-life speedcubing with competitive multiplayer races.

Performance Badges and Progression Upgrades

Player progression centers on match win streaks, fast completion times, and coin accumulation. The game tracks milestones through four official badges:

  • Welcome: awarded after playing the game.
  • First Win: awarded after claiming a first match victory.
  • Sub 5: awarded for completing a solve in under 5 seconds.
  • On Fire!: awarded for securing a 3-game win streak.

Players looking to accelerate resource collection can purchase optional gamepasses directly from the game page. Available game passes include x2 Coins for 79 Robux, x2 Wins for 79 Robux, x2 Streak for 59 Robux, an Exclusive Pack for 149 Robux, and VIP access for 499 Robux.
